Been applying for jobs for a while and finally got 2 offers. The first company already sent me theirs, good money and tech stack that I'm used to but I'd have to relocate to another province and city.
The second company is the one that got back to me first, they haven't sent their offer letter yet but it's a good offer. Same pay as the one where I'd have to relocate (which I don't really feel like anymore).

And the deadline for the relocation job is today, I dunno what to do a d which option to choose between the 2.

Fuck, that’s difficult! Perhaps it could be reasonable to ask for a few more days to determine if a relocation would be viable?

@OscarSouth yeah it's difficult. And I'd have to secure accommodation all by myself and all the logistics 😑...but they want me to start in April though, but still I don't wanna rush to sign yet coz the other offer won't need relocation and I can stay where I am

Depends, for me I'd relocate if I'm already living alone, I mean I'm not living near friends and family.

Another thing I'd look for is rent

Is the new place for relocation a nice place to live in, or the one you are at right now is better

If you decide to go out, is it easier to get transportation where you live now or where you will be living if you relocate?

Buying your daily stuff from the mini-market is it easier in your current location or the new one?

I mostly care about those since I:

    1. don't have a car, so finding transportation fast is an important thing

    2. I spent most of the day out, come back tired and not in the mood to go to a far place to get what I need for the house, so having a close by mini market is important too

    3. I don't earn millions a month, the cheaper the rent the better, but also quality must be at least minimum: good apartment/room, good neighbors, clam street and not on the main road

Its just how I think lol

@gitpush lol yeah I get you. But relocating has its perks, for example there life is a bit more expensive than where I currently live.
I dunno much about transport system in the other city, compared to where I am now it's pretty easy to navigate around coz I know the place and am used to it.

I wouldn't really relocate unless the pay is good enough compared to the cost of living in that city.

And in this case both offers are the same amount of money, so staying where I'm at would be cost effective in a way

@hervinho243 yup that's #2 in the list, if it is the same stay where you are, unless that other company is one of those large ones, I wouldn't think of relocating tbh
