@intromatt i keep hearing about it, but as the main subject of my uni courses is usually programming related we hardly get into anything phisical beyond maybe VHDL/Verilog. Can you give me some mpre details about what direction should i look into about this R Pi? Like some headstarts?

How about starting with a Pi Zero W and setting up Pihole. This will get your feet wet and undoubtedly hooked on the platform.

I'm currently building a real time airplane tracker. @KennyTheBard

@Agred yeah i tought about it once or twice as it would give me a lot of experience in the field but honestly when i say free time i mean like the bare minimum to keep my mental sanity, as for example i stayed the entire weekend plus other 2 days home to work on homeworks.. uni + job might give me some bonus experience, but probably will give me another year or two to think about my licence project 😅

Best way to spend your free time:
    1. Exercising - Not only keeps your body healthy but keeps your mind right and keeps you humble as well.

    2. Learn - Look at some practical things you want to create and learn how to do that. Learn a new language or learn about shit you're passionate about.

    3. Get after it - You have to (start to) do things to really find out what you like in general. You will fail and succeed just make sure you keep showing up and you keep doing atleast something useful.

    4. Relax - Enjoy yourself but make sure you keep putting in as many useful hours a day as possible.

I started doing some jogging lately (one of my passions) and i kind of try to get some bonus work done as i'm following some online courses on machine learning. My relaxing activity is drawing and so i start to make another boardgame for myself and some friends. And i see what you say about trying some new things on my own, im thinking about trying some arduino thingies or something like that, hardwareish (as i am more software oriented) but do you have any more sugestions? I kind of lack those rn...
