They gave us some weird-looking software to "re-write mac addresses". It's working.

How is it still working: it does NOT. If you keep a low number of devices (tablets? How do you actually call that? It runs android and it's useless) on the same LAN, it's ok. But as the number grow, you are more likely to have the same mac address twice. It is not supposed to happen, and I was not prepared for that.

I'm so tired. I have to work around that kind of shit, because the guys out there WON'T FUCKING TRACK THEIR MAC ADDRESSES. It's like some semi-random generator and OF COURSE, we bought 10k devices over 2 years.
We TRIED to automate the "re-macaddressing?" but unfortunately, they gave us the fucking program without source code and we don't even understand how it fucking works. Thank god the contracts ends in a few months.

this shouldnt happen, this is the violation of the purpose of an mac address. The manager who said that all cards must have the same mac should slapped in the face.
