But imho it's tiresome to get into android these days. Like there are 20 different versions, 8 of them bring some weird everything-destroying appcompat shit with them and the studio is based on the TooManyClickables IDE..

@AlpineLinnix I was a newbie in Andorid just 3 years ago and Even then I knew how wrong this is. Expecting everyone yo know everything is unreal, but the original purpose of SO is (was) to ask, let me cap this, INTELLIGENT questions. This is wrong beyond noviceness and scratches stupidity. I mean the freaking IDE must be telling him what's wrong for Pete's sakes.

@AlpineLinnix go ahead and asume what I meant. But what I rant about is the laziness to at least first googling at going through a tutorial. That's it.

@AlpineLinnix see you are just assuming he did, probably because you would. But in my SO review experience that's not the usual case.
