Rabbyte15877yI don't want to be mean, but it's just a place. You should've gone with below %10.
I do not pay for housing btw. -
CodeNoir7347y@Rabbyte but it was just one room, and I live with my SO. If I were alone, I'd be fine.
-
Rabbyte15877y@CodeNoir Oh, I think it's okay than. Congrats with your first(?) home-aloney house!

xewl41717y27%, and that's damn low around here as well :( If I move, I'd be paying over 40 in a jiff.
-
CodeNoir7347y@Charon92 Well, it is a big improvement. 85 sq. m, a bedroom, a kitchen, and a living room. Plus two balconies, and a parking space. It's also near a big road with public transport, but not facing the road (so it's quiet).

It's pretty normal to pay around ⅓ of your salary on rent in the UK. More in London. If you have accomodation that you like for as little as 20% of your salary I'd say your on to a good deal.

jeeper59687y@azous as I am trying to sell the house I moved from rn, I too am living on 4/3 of my income lol
-
2xCmet1827yI'm going to Start my First Job after I got my bachlors degree and I'm going to pay 50% of my income without the Internet and electricity I have to pay as Welle. But if you want to have a nice flat for two people it gets a Bit expensive.

pullervo3717yIt's about 25%, shared with my Life. A bit expensive but nice. For the same price we should buy our own instead of renting.

Just switched from a rent that is below 10% of my salary to a solid 20% one. I feel somehow bad, although the size is much better.
How much do you pay for housing compared to you salary, guys?
