@nullsoup the keyboard, the sturdiness, the quality, and they look like a workhorse. Functional and tough.

I want a laptop for mobility and productivity when I accompany my wife to the mall. She'll go shopping while I study/code in the laptop ☝️

bahua128017yAs far as I can tell, the only practical reason my employer has given me a laptop, rather than a proper computer, is so I can take my laptop to a meeting and not pay attention.

Man, I wish my employer was just, "a guy." But if that was the case the pay would probably be a lot lower.
But as for working from home, I'm happy to do it. It's a better for me anyway. That said, my laptop sits in its bag all the time that I'm not in the office. I use my Linux desktop at home.
I've tried so many laptops as dev workhorses. Dell, hp, a few apples, and now after 20 years, a ThinkPad.
Never. Going. Back.
