@Clear0Ff Sass support 2 different syntaxes. Original Sass and SCSS, which is more popular and closer to plain CSS. I prefer Sass syntax because it is cleaner, no syntactic sugar and I feel like I am writing faster.

Less work your client machine has to do so theoretical faster page loading, less javascript to download and theoretically less chance for client-related bugs -
@AlexDeLarge I use SCSS just because I'm to lazy to use the search&replace function when I decide to change colors xD
