Cruiser14998y@h3ll sure is. i use it for longer projects, but prefer plain old ms word for short stories

@h3ll the only problem I've heard about using LaTeX for a book is that publishers usually have their own style guides and I've heard they usually prefer taking books from some sort of text without all the extra characters.
With that said I believe they generally use LaTeX for the final product. Also now that I think of it I was told it was bad to do LaTeX for text books not books so it may be different for books. -
My two sisters are writers too. Just keep at it! I'm sure you'll be published one day if you keep at it! Regardless I'm sure it's still a fun hobby. 😀
