Got very little sleep last night, not in a great mood to begin with. Came into work to find someone borrowed one of my cables that I need and hasn't returned it. It was wrapped around a few things to keep it tidy, all of which have been moved, stretched, bent etc. Now my battery is running low and he has emailed to say won't be in for 30 minutes.

Think the only reasonable course of action in a just world, is for me to strangle him with the cable when he gets in. I mean come on, whats the alternative? Still haven't gotten that pen back from last year ... this place is going downhill fast!

Steal something precious from him... Like his kidney or so... He can surely miss one no?😆

Turn his desk upside down, say you needed to borrow something

@seraphimsystems I like where your head is at, but he keeps nothing on his desk and sits next to some empty ones. Wouldn’t do much unfortunately.

Pester management until they buy more cables. Absolutely refuse to lend any cables.

Did it after being tired of having cables "disappearing" and being told it's my fault I do not keep track of them. Now MY cables don't disappear anymore.

@seraphimsystems ... security are now standing beside me, telling me I have to leave the building ... but hey, he won't take my cable anymore #result

@practiseSafeHex have you told security what happened... I bet they will be on your side once they understand.

I tape my cables to my desk for this reason. Nobody takes my cables with them, not even me.
