I feel like moving to Sachsen/Germany for dev job might not have been the best idea.. sometimes it can get a bit annoying because of all xenophobic people.. anyone else from Sachsen here?

@heyheni Berlin is too crowded and dirty for me (not saying that I'm a princess, I just lived too long in cities with more than 11 million population), I'm more kind of a nature guy. With little as possible gray. And I've been to Hamburg, have to say, I hated many of the streets where lots of junkies laying around.. but I should add I fucking love Germany and the language and the people. It's a beautiful country.

Which city are you in? Saxony does have a xenophobia problem, and it is worse in rural areas but also some cities got it bad, e.g. Dresden and Chemnitz ans Görlitz.

Leipzig is the best option to live in Saxony IMO, yet I moved away 10 years ago anyway and am not missing a thing and have not looked back.

Try Hamburg or Berlin ;)
