A friend of mine wants to start learn HTML/CSS/JS and ask me where to start.
Since I started to write them more than 10 years ago, I have no clue where to start, what good ressources are today and so on.

Therefore: what would you recommend, I recommend her?

I would agree with something like Udemy, especially an intensive course. I find these courses keep you more motivated than just reading on your own imo.

And she can't forget to experiment with any little thing she got learnt, it's VERY IMPORTANT. And also some sort of "Javascript Repl Shell" could help her

Watch rachel andrew and traversy media on youtube

    Also css-tricks, and mdn

w3 schools only for the try it yourself otherwise dig the website mentioned before for more definition

Also start using grid for layout, and if it can be done with css don’t use js
