DevRant is not StackOverflow.

DevRant is a fun place for developers from the whole world to hang out, listening to other like minded people and telling about their woes with the topics around their passion. So that's why there is no syntax highlighting and why you should keep your code away from DevRant.

I have conflicting feelings about this one... In a point of view you shouldn't be allowed to post code in Devrant (not the point not focus here), in another way, it's harder to post that "look at this piece of code shit I just came across"...

Maybe just a inline `code` support!?
Oh well...
