So I live in a country where computer science is viewed as the "last option" when choosing college programs and IT is viewed as only for maintenance of computers and is believed here that you can't be successful in choosing computer science or IT for college. So I really want to be a software dev but don't know what to choose from the two and how to explain to my parents about what I really want to become.
