Argh fuck you Microsoft for blocking my precious mail server. I can't believe that you were the only one. Even google accepts my mails with every fucking test passed...

Oh and not to mention that in the no delivery report you are referring an error code which is not present on the linked troubleshoot page. Thank you once more, you piece of shit.

Should have listened to the articles about why I don't want an own mail server...

    SPF DKIM and DMARC was set up correctly I had a hostname mismatch in my reverse DNS record, which according to mxtools is fixed by now.

    I've also found our IP blacklisted at two places, requested removal already.

    And should I wrote to them (I've found a form online), or will the issue auto resolve itself?

    Nice, will do. Thank you. :)

    If you are on blacklists, it is not Microsofts fault ;)

    Anyway, hosting your own email server is great! I encourage it!

    They said in the report, that I should contact my service provider since part of my network is blocked. This mail server sits on a VPS at a hosting company. Could it be that they are the reason why I am blocked, or the hostname mismatch is enough reason for it?

    If the PTR record was missmatching the hostname, some providers would block and Blacklist. Otherwhise there is another VM at the same hostingprovider that is spamming.

    So basically I should contact both Microsoft and my provider as well. So fucking glad it's a 4days long national holiday, so I will only be able to speak with my provider on Wednesday. Surely our new customer with the hotmail account will understand...

    @Teosz
    Are you a hosting company btw?
    You should contact your provider and they should do removal request to the BLs

    @Linux

    No. I'm just their customer. I rent a vps from them, which hosts our website and mail server.

    @Teosz
    I hope you dont have the website and mailserver on the same vps btw :)

    Now this might be a stupid question, but is it that much of a problem? (This is my first time doing something like this)

    @Teosz

    Websites is relatively easy pwned. And if you have your email on the same server - the reputation goes down the drain.

    Well sure thing. I think I move back my emails to the shared crap we had before. It's cheap and at least managed, and on the email side we never had issues. I failed the spam filtering miserably anyways. :)

    Sometimes it is easier to let people who knows email manage them :)
