Even though we call it bandWIDTH, packages arrive sequentially. Your connection delivers those packages more quickly than mine.

It’s like the complete opposite to my parents place where for some reason every time I visit (DSL) internet gets worse and worse, to the point where I’ve now made a weather-proof box to put my 3G router on the roof (we’re in Europe with 100GB/month for 20$), 10 times as fast as their wired internet..
