Put a price on interestingness and subtract that price from the pay, then decide if it's still good pay.

@error503 I am also in your situation, trying to decide the worth of interestingness got me thinking of money and long term prosperity and retirement and personal life and worth of youthful joy, then after some thought experiments, I decided my biggest problem is not about the job but elsewhere, and I put it at a price of 15k per year. Sorry I can't be more helpful.

alexsteb1227yLook at your bosses and ask yourself if you someday want to have their job. If yes, stay longer and keep trying. If not, go searching.
4 weeks in this new job and I fucken hate it. Strict deadlines and non-interesting projects. Only thing is good is the pay. I will wait for next 4 weeks to decide if I want to fucken leave this company or stay.
