It's just the anticipation of getting to deal with the beauty of Linux again. <3
-
@fuck2code If you have to change linux systems quite often, doesn't it actually indicate the opposite of being 'so good, all around'?
-
olback109926y@HelloUglyWorld You don't have to switch Linux install more often than Windows. I had to reinstall Linux once and that was thanks to Windows for fucking up grub.
-
@fuck2code Your argument isn't accurate.
If you change to Windows 10, it's after years of using Windows 7 - for me, personally, it would be 8 years now if I switched to Windows 10. -
@olback Devices by default are meant to have one OS.
I fail to see how it's Windows' fault for you going against the design. -
@fuck2code Windows isn't a sentient being, just like guns aren't.
It's a tool and it's up to human to decide what to do with it - if you install Windows despite knowing that it doesn't like dual-boots, then who's to blame? -
If I was taking windows install pictures I'd be taking 100+ everyday during the summer.
-
hell169576yAaah this picture brings back memory of a time I had to sit there waiting for it to finish each step and reboot 3 times so I could start installing basic software to a blank OS.
I'm so glad that now I can watch an YouTube video on a pre-instaled Firefox on a live media in the same computer that I'm installing its OS. -
PacRat39906y@fuck2code and installing arch for the first time successfully DOES come with a big sense of accomplishment. After toying with arch, i've learned so much about linux in general
-
@Lahsen2016 even after we automated the xleanip process for windows we still found it easier and faster to just start from a fresh image.
At the risk of getting people butthurt.
Why do you all have to post linux-installation screens?
*Look at me, I'm installing linux, I'm in the elite, I'm so special*
I'm sorry snowflakes, but you don't see people posting images about installing Windows and being like 'I'm so special'.
