I had an interview with a company that works offshore (works for a big silicon valley company) for an internship program. I liked their bosses vision and how he treats his coworkers. After 1 hour technical interview I asked how much they pay for internship and they told me they are not paying anything. And they said hey we are teaching you how things works. Wait... What? Atleast you can pay my transport and food fees. Fuck you and fuck your company. If you don't pay me a single fucking penny, I am not working with you. There is local laws to pay me some money. If you don't care about laws, I wont care about your fucking company. Burn in hell.

    Well, that's common practice in Portugal (government pays the company to put interns but only less then 1% pays anything)
    But if the law proibes that in your country just ask what the court will think on their iligal policies...
    I always shut up upnose bosses when they do shit like that.
    When I was layed off my last work I made a complaint against the company for iligal practices...
    The boss was downgraded to his first job, accounts, a nice lady was promoted to his place and was offered the chance to keep working, knowing he wouldn't quit fucking me up) or quit with a good pay and a letter to get unemployment pay for the government (in Portugal you can get up to 2/3 of your last pay).
    So I just took the money and took the unemployment paid time to do a specialization for my corrent work.
    I really piss bosses out... Specially smart asses. BTW the company lost dowsands just because the guy would say that any damaged packaged that was sent to the client was my fault, instead of calling endurance.
    To bad management didn't know about that

    @RodrigoF wow that’s a toxic boss 😨😨

    @hack m also looking for internship right now and many don’t pay u anything... but then again, they r work from home with pretty much no expenses whatsoever...
    I still keep looking to find something that pays... I just don’t like the idea of working for free ( unless it’s an open source project )... if m working for u, u pay me something ( not experience ) thank u 😒😅😁

    @Electrux @py2js I know some companies even pay full time check plus experience. Come on. I don't want paid like a full time employer. I just want to cover my expenses.
