neofetch8217yI have the same habit of clearing everything...
But I have no friends to borrow a phone from. -
It is actually more than habit. People usually leave 15+ unnecessary apps open unwillingly, so i clear them to open up some room.
But i never did and never will clear someones apps if they are completely aware of them. Hence, %99 of the user that gives to me are not aware and thank me for making phone a little faster. -
@illegaldisease On Android, recent apps are handled well by the OS and generally the system won't run faster if you clear them. And notifications are even more annoying: I keep them in the tray because I want to handle them later!
-
@ColonelPhantom That is why i said "aware or unaware".
If you say : my storage is full, could you tell me why ? or could you add this contact ? I assume that person is unaware and i clear out unnecessary stuff. When i try to ask to clear, %99.9999 of the time they do not know what i say.
But if you say something like : I recently downgraded google play services to prevent it from stopping, now some of the apps is problematic. I assume that you know what you are doing and will not clear anything without asking you first.
I knew you would say that, but that is only the case when phone has decent amount of RAM ( 16 GB at least ) -
@ColonelPhantom also sometimes the battery suffers from reopening applications after closing from task screen
-
@illegaldisease
Really? I have 3GB RAM and never noticed anything from clearing recent apps. Android automatically kills them when RAM runs out, and suspends them when not being used anyways. -
@RemyRm
May I suggest swiping it up? That way the headsup disappears but the notification isn't gone so they can still read it when you give them their phone back. -
@ColonelPhantom 3GB RAM ? Lol what kind of ancient phone are you using ? What is its API level ?
