Your life's fucked up if you get several merge conflicts, and you are using Eclipse IDE! 🤯

Merge conflicts are a pain everywhere. Jetbrains has the nicer GUI, sure, but the moment you have to do any manual changes (and you usually do), it's the same in all IDEs.

As for Eclipse sucking, I'm bored, so here's my story:
I recently switched to PyCharm, so I figured I'd give IntelliJ another try too. It used more RAM than 2 Eclipse instances with a bunch of plugins, it was slower than a quadriplegic snail going up stairs, while not doing anything for me that Eclipse couldn't and (subjectively) looking incomparably worse.
Don't get me wrong, Eclipse isn't 'better' and both IDEs are light years behind editors like Atom (which makes me want to scream and die).
But it's definitely not bad. For an example of a bad Java IDE, look no further than the infamous Netbeans.
