Fuck public transportation. Seriously. It's usually disgusting, too hot, too cold, to expensive and not customer Friendly.

@Alice I mean, i get why cities and governments want you to use public transportation. It is the much greener, much more sustainable solution. I just don't get why it has to be so shitty and expensive. If you want people to use it, make it good and people will use it.

Also: The best solution would probably be biking within a city. Except the dutch, nobody really has that figured out. Which infuriates me even more. Why do i need the gazillionth new road for motor vehicles? BUILD MORE FUCKING BYCICLE PATHS!

The public transport in Vienna works quite good.

With an annual ticket, it costs 1€/day, you can get from one side of the city to the other within one hour and the delays are not that bad.

The worst thing is, that some older trains don't have AC in summer, but they get more and more replaced by new ones.

In Trondheim, Norway, public transport is quite good. During the day most buses go every 10-15 minutes, the buses are rarely crammed.
I pay 760 NOK for 30 days of bus travel, and I use it twice a day, that’s 12,60 NOK pr way. That’s pretty alright. I could get it cheaper if I buy for 6 months at a time, around 9,7 NOK each way

@ChainsawBaby sometimes I wonder: how come you Scandinavians seem to do things always the right way?

@SPie while the prices in Vienna are alright, it still suffers from the same problems as everywhere else. I remember my days on the U1 in summer.

@muma we’re just smart. Though, I had people with rucksacks on the buses. Turning around without a care on the world, then you get a rucksack punch in your face, or your hand is hit and you loose grip of whatever you got in your hand

^ true story, that’s how I broke my iPhone X
