Somebody asked me if I could make a little windows program that can download and save streams from a camgirl (porn) site (he would pay me for it in Bitcoin)...

This is by far one of the weirdest client requests I've gotten so far...

Why doesnt he use existing stuff?

@hypervtechnics he couldn't find any for this particular site (neither could I find it within a quick search).

Everything we could find was taken down by the DMCA :p

@FinlayDaG33k I mean a simple screenrecorder (fraps, snagit, etc.)

@hypervtechnics Because he wanted to record multiple streams at the same time while he was doing other things as well (like gaming).

@hypervtechnics ye, I didn't really ask questions about what he meant with "doing other stuff" so i just filled in the blanks in one of the least disturbing ways I can think of atm

@FinlayDaG33k youtube-dl was an tool for youtube vut now it can download videos from much more sites.

idk if it works on this particular site (didn't really care, I got paid for this so)

My take on it would be an electron app navigating through the camgirl site and intercepting the video requests, glueing the videos together in the end.

What's your take on this?

P.S.: this client appears paranoid as hell, screwing with him could be fun (e.g. some cryptic error messages)

@YouAreAPIRate nah, just a c# app that reads a textfile (which contains the names of the camgirls) then scrapes the website (based on the textfile contents) and searches for a url then sends it to ffmpeg
