Hate it when people say a bug is weird. Your not having enough information to know what's going signifies either a problem in your approach or determination. It's not weird.

Strange, unexpected, unusual, supernatural, bizarre. I think it's weird that you don't think weird is an appropriate adjective.

I'm a dev and I find weird bugs in my own code all the time, bugs I can't just fix, since it's not a straight problem, the error doesn't make sense to me.

So I don't quite understand what you dislike about people talking about weird bugs. If the bug doesn't make any sense at first it can be confusing, looking weird, quite normal if you'd ask me.
