What is the best Linux distro for coding Java?

    A distro that supports update-alternatives, for example Debian, Ubuntu, could be good, because it allows you to switch between different java-versions.

    Sounds like you're new to linux (correct me if I'm wrong) in which case I'd suggest Ubuntu or mint
