Haha. Try to teach it to them, maybe they just never had the opportunity to learn it. Explain the advantages and ask them if you can create a repository for the project. They may be against it, but you can always make your local version control at least :)

@lucaspar i did i created a repo pushed my code and showed them .. and they eneded up pushing the .zip file on the repo..
