There's a ton of Java jobs. I think Aetna, State Farm are hiring Java developers here. There are a ton it's pretty much all Java or .NET here

Also you can pretty much wear shorts all year round if you're used to colder weather. Coldest it gets is about 34 tops in the "winter" which is only for a month and a half otherwise it's about 70 degrees for 6 months then 100000 in the summer. Try not to live in South Phoenix, most jobs will be in North Phoenix, Scottsdale and Tempe.

It's a different kind of heat. Maybe similar to Texas but depends what part. Imagine standing in a blow dryer. Or an oven when you get in your car. But there's plenty to do here I think.
semi personal rant. looking to move to pheonix. anybody know any good jobs? Java and Web guy. also I'm a hardware junkie so if you got it or even repair shop jobs I'm good.
