Designed a logo for client. Sent him an EPS, JPEG, and PNG..
Client: "Can you send me a PDF instead?"

Why the fuck would he want a PDF? O.o

PDF is a valid artwork placement filetype these days. EPS is for dinosaurs ;)

Because he can open a pdf in his mobile mail and take a screenshot to send for printing...

Maybe he is used to getting sent pdf from other designers in the past.

    always include PDF's 😎

I find it weird as you can print a PNG or JPG, why request your designer to send you an additional copy in a new format when they can easily do it.. unless they are insanely computer illiterate. Like I don't mind such small requests, they don't waste any of my time more than I waste myself.

@uziiuzair ive had issues with printers in the past where I'd send them images and they'd completely screw it up. I think PDF's are designed to keep document sizes consistent for printing. But I could also be talking out of my ass

@uziiuzair I asked one of my clients to get the .ai or PDF for his logo (He only had it on a business card design as png). He managed to get the PDF version, I could then extract the logo. I mean to say PDF's are always great 😀 I see more logos going around as PDF than eps

@flag0 I'm not sure if that was a joke, and no offense but I did not get the comment.
