Game industry sucks fat dicks nowadays( 5000th part of everything, dead innovation, paid micro DLCs, season passes and pay to win models). Hard to found one what can engage the user more than 3 minutes.
On the other hand, we got eve online what is fucking awesome. I am just in the spaceship beez since 11 years. I can advise to check it out if you want some serious time killer. (Just finished an arduino lcd display server what fetches my monthly kills and other stats from zkillboard api and updates it periodically. )

@Pogromist its why I only play mobile games, my PC sucks for gaming and well the time investments isn't worth.

    Also harder to cheat.

@billgates my smartphone (not mine) is better at playing video than my laptop (not mine too) because it don't make noise.

I do that aswell. I "buy" 20GB games on Fitgirl's or Skidrow's take a couple of hours "for the purchase to go through" and end up playing them for 10 minutes, leave them on my Desktop out of guilt and always hoping that I'll play them when I have more time and uninstall them 5 months later.

*waits 5 hours for the download to complete*

When waiting for the download to complete is more fun than playing the game

@dcode that's why I keep cracking games. I'll rather pay 20/30 euros for a very good freemium that 60€ + 40€ for game + first dlc, bla, bla. Fuck them.
I bought the full fallout 3 gotty for the same price of the original (without dlc)
Because dlcs nowdays aren't extras but parts of the games, companies left out to get 3x or 4x time more.
But I don't blaim the companies, I blame reach kids who's father gives him/her anything...
If no one bought the games/dlcs, companies have to adapt.
If they make more profit this way, it's the gamers fault.
    Tha end

I have a similar problem. I bought to many games over time and can't really focus on finishing one before starting the next...
