learning how to hack is mostly a side-effect of learning/understanding of how to program, and how software works.

I can recommend taking 2 pairs of chopsticks instead of only one into your hand and trying to eat two different foods with it. I think that's a good starting point. You could then use more and more over time. That's what hacking is my friend.
