What the fuck is this versioning system? DO they generate a random number for each patch?

    My guess is it's along the lines of increase minor version each build maybe with some date format baked in, major version could be a branch merge or something.

    dafuq! 162? isn't that version 2 of Android Studio?

    I haven't seen that number in a long time

    And Google doesn't put the number xxx.yyyyy, they don't put the x's that is set by JetBrains, download one of their IDE's and you will see the same, Google only change the y's

    @gitpush It has been a while since I started Android Studio. Update broke my projects. Heck.

    @AlgoRythm ya there were breaking changes in Android Studio 3, read their migration docs

    It's up to you, but the only down side in the latest update, when you have an error it doesn't always tell you were :/ happened to me many times 😥

    They base it on the amounts of fucks they didnt give, while creating that version.

    I think ot has something to do wotb so many levels of refactoring they do in their devopment channels :3-4 alphas, 17-18 canaries ,2-3 betas , 2-3 previews and then the final release 😂
