A new guy joined my team two months ago he is more experienced than I am, but his knowledge yet is not good enough for our project. He is on live project working with me on a feature. I have major trust issues right now. How do people handle that in your teams?

    @electric-ghost I am leaving this team and he is supposed to be my replacement, there is no other backup the manager already knows about things. : /

    @electric-ghost Been doing that, I am going to scrap his code if it doesn't stand up to the mark. I'll have to develop it again though. Hope that doesn't affect his ego or something, he being a experienced guy, but bad code is bad code I can't see my code ruined after I leave because of that. I don't mind training him to follow the standards. Although.all these steps are going to prolong my time in this team. Hope it doesn't go to this. : {

    An update on this as I predicted the new guy fucked up. I had to redo all of his work and the deadline has been missed. The Boss will have the next say now.
