I dont think you can do much to it but keep on going. I am one of the "machines" you described. By just walking past someone and a quick glimpse of their screen and I can spot up to three spelling mistakes.
But when I'm reading something with spelling mistakes it takes me about 5 reads before I understand it. Your posts first sentence has a word which is not needed there (the first "with"). What I have to do is removing words and letters in my head to find the correct thing, I can do it pretty quickly. When I'm reading a mistake I have to bruteforce a solution. Because I'm trained in this and started programming at age 10 I can remember about 7 nests deep and still know everything I've read before. -

That was definitely a case of saying so many words without actually saying anything 😂
To OP, just keep on writing code. Experience does that. -
@D--M I mean that its a lot of practice, the correct mindset and you really need to see the difference in 1 or 2 spaces, spot spelling mistakes from a few meters away.
My ADD might be a part of the reason why I am able to do this. People with Autism, ADD and other related conditions are most of the times really good programmers because they have the issue of having the above mentioned traits.

Working with at a web dev job with a guy who is a really great programmer, the problem I have is I'm dyslexic and remember code is pretty hard for me but when I get in the flow I can do things. Him on the other hand is a machine, reads something and can implement it immediately. Do you guys have any tips on how to do better? I don't want to look like a complete noon.
