After many attempts to fix this, hope this will be the last one. I really hate these apple chargers.

In 4 mates with MacBook Pro's in my class, 6 chargers where changed. So imagine how good they are 😂

@pneves ikr. i wonder when apple will do something about these awesome chargers.

Just buy a new one!

@snayski So you agree in just pay 1500€ for a 800€ specs computer and after one year you pay more 100€ to bought a new charger, just because they don't solve a bad usage design since the last, at least, 5 years?

That thing looks super abused. 😣 @Fixxel - I also have one that I've used for more than 4 years and use with a new MBP via an adapter now. Take good care of things and most of the time they last.

I've had mine for 4 years. No problems at all.

Yeah I wonder why so many people have issues with these chargers. Mines been chewed through by my cats and they've still lasted me years

Whenever I get a new one, I put some electric tape around the easily worn out parts. Lasts until I get a new computer.

@pneves wonder what your majesty thinks about dell computers?

If you look after these, they'll last you. But I imagine if you're always on the move, they'll die pretty quickly.

@drRoss thats the problem. im always on the move. i bring this with me almost everyday.

Got to say the chargers wear out way faster than the actual computers. Mostly using them at home but they break anyway. But first one lasted 6 years or so which is not bad. But the recent design seems to actually work less good. Last one started breaking right away.

@pneves If you take care of it, it wouldn't break in the first place.
