This is a phone. Phones are really not meant for terminals and all that, which is why mobile operating systems are designed like they are. Sure, install some edgy OS on your phone but I guarantee it will be more difficult to use (at least, I hate typing in terminals on my phone)

Never heard of this, I thought the only options were ubuntuphone (dead) and whatever custom ROMs you can dig up. One sec while I go flash this

Why would i have to port the 'real gnu/linux'? the options in termux are fine to what i need, experiment and learn, plus i'm learning, i don't know yet how to make a proper port of anything.
I was very happy when i discovered termux and installed arch, usually people post things that make them happy you know?
Do my happines hurt you?
