I start my internship today as a DevOps engineer intern! I'm super excited! Any tips for the first day on the job?

First, congratulations!

Small advices (since you asked):

- Listen a lot before you speak. The key to adaptation is observation (looking and listening).

- Things are in a way for a reason. Maybe the reason is everybody is dumb or ignorant BUT probably there's a good reason why, for example, they're using a pretty old version of a package. Don't judge up front.

- Be humble but trust your strength. Detect the one fellow that's open to teach you things. Those are the good ones.

- Have fun!

PS: In the first day you'll probably do nothing but still is a nice feeling.
