I've got a Pixel XL and my family uses a Home Mini. Hoping to get one soon for my apartment soon.

I mainly use it for music, controlling things and for the sake of quick and easy Google searches.

@Stuxnet it's not about you being "that important". They are listening to everyone. It's Google, they live from data. Even of there is no one specifically listening to your recordings, it's still there and Google is using it. I also use Home Mini, but I know that it sacrafices privacy in a way

Also, the NSA is more subtle than that. They monitor, and seek to protect their ability to do so, but they tend to let other groups (the FBI, etc.) do the lobbying for easier spying methods.

Plus the thing is usually unplugged because there's no point in wasting the electricity it takes to power it when nobody is using it.

Maybe in 10 years, some insurance you want to get car insurance from asks Google if you, in general, swear a lot and if yes, maybe would see you as an aggressive driver and deny you insurance.
