arazzz4706yWell, unlike @Floydian here, I cannot concentrate on something mentally intensive without music. Depending on the mood, I turn on either my full metal collection (550+ hours), randomized or 24/7 Doom radio from youtube.

@Floydian have you heard the Doom 2016 soundtrack? It's a very (very) heavy mix of electronic and metal, incredible stuff. That entire thing is just pure insanity, lol. I recommend Rip & Tear to start off with, followed by BFG Division. Just something for when you're having a bad day and feel like tearing someone's head off.
I listen to all kinds of stuff, from ambient to folk to power and death metal. And djent. Yes I actually like djent. -
I listen to music 16/7 (the average 8 hours sleep are missing).
Just like @Floydian I listen to anyting but pop, crap and electronic, although there are some exceptions to within those exceptions.
I listen to mozart and bach, some regional German bands (even though Im not from Germany), Dutch music, jazz, blues, country, rock, metal, classic pop (beatles etc), and what-not -
@Floydian yeah, I've seen that too. I like djent because well, eh, it's fun. I really don't mind 7/8 string guitars that are drop tuned to bass guitar levels.
In order of increasing insanity (whether anything is more insane than BFG Division is debatable, but I feel that Skullhacker and VEGA Core surpass it because reasons)
Rip and Tear - https://youtu.be/zZMg9ryeWOw
BFG Division - https://youtu.be/QHRuTYtSbJQ
Skullhacker - https://youtu.be/GfqcRQlFVpM
VEGA Core (will wreck your speakers/phones, careful) - https://youtu.be/9XYZXqOiNoM
There are a ton of other good songs in this album like Damnation (beautiful choral parts), Rust Dust and Guts (less experimental, them drumz), Argent Energy (angry ambient), etc.
Oh man I'd love to see your face when you listen to this stuff xD -
@Floydian this may change your mind about electronic, this is Wild Moose from the soundtrack of Almost Holy. Emotional gut punch (not at all like Doom, lol, chill). Good movie too.

I listen to nostalgic gaming music, actually game and film soundtracks and sometimes scores, when not, chillhop or pony music, I have bad taste.
