tokumei21256yTotally can relate, all of my friends have those beefy MSI laptops and I'm doing my work on a Core i3. Honestly that's all I need, and the low power and long battery life is awesome.
That doesn't mean I wouldn't like some extra power of course, I am saving for a better workstation for algorithms and high-performance programs, but waiting for that is soooo hard. -
Flauschie146yThe worst thing is when your friends have better hardware, but have no clue about their hardware and always have to tell you how good their pc`s are.

henlo32766yWhen we started with C, everyone used to get i5 systems in class and fuck shit up. I'm still proud of my atom laptop which never let me down.

@Michelle more fun than being locked up without a laptop 😬 Don't you think ?

No, I mean the police chase. If there won't be a police chase then where's the fun or the thrill? -

I don't watch movies all that often. I haven't seen a movie in over 4 months. -
@Michelle Shiz !!! You have a vivid imagination. Might be kinda unhealthy 🙄

@confusedGuy-sh
Not really. It's more of a bliss, and I enjoy it alot. Sometimes it helps me when I write my stories, and sometimes I just daydream when I'm in an uncomfortable situation.
For example, presentations. My body goes on "auto pilot" and I daydream to "escape." I can even create friends whenever I want. :D
It's a blessing, so I don't consider it unhealthy. -
@Michelle Sucks not to have such a vivid imagination. I just tag onto TV series for a past time. Would like to be lost in own thoughts 🤔 Wonder what that's like ...

@confusedGuy-sh
You should practice it. Maybe then you'll become better.
It's a lot of fun! Though, sometimes it can be confusing because everything feels real. Whether you're seeing your "friends" or switching into your little world. So sometimes I forget that I'm visualizing. Other than that, it feels great.
I hate it when your non dev friend uses top notch hardware and I am stuck with a piece of shit junk
