@dfox @trogus
I have selected the algo mode for sorting .
Idk why but my feed is a little too full with rants I have already ++'ed . I am coming across the same rants multiple times,for days. Despite refreshing nothing happens.
I mean I can change the sorting mode for fresh rants but I suggest the algorithm be improved in a way that rants that have been upvoted or commented on by the user, no longer exist in the feed after refresh.

If this already exists then I am probably experiencing a bug, so I'd like to report that.

    On which platform does this happen?
    In theory when you use the algo it should already save the "set" of rants you've seen and bypass them when you refresh or scroll enough to load new ones.

    @ceee so it's seems a bug, very strange though.

    Every time you refresh or change page the server flag as already seen the "unique set" of rants you've seen.
    This process can not occur immediately (it can took a while for the server to do that), but the app to avoid this problem add to the request parameters the sets of rants you've already seen, so if on the server they are still not flagged as "seen", the server ignore them anyway getting them from the parameters.

    Try to report it on the issue tracker: https://github.com/devRant/devRant

    I faced the same issue not a while ago, I just changed my feed to the latest. And everytime I read the one I ++ ed, I stopped.

    Too much devrant? Maybe...

    If you’re seeing rants you’ve already seen in algo then it means you ran out of algo rants. When you run out, it falls back to “top”

    @dfox can we get a shuffle feature? (I know you’re busy, but maybe one day)
