One of my older servers just went down. It's been hacked. How do I know this you ask? Is it mining bitcoin?

No - windows event viewer has no errors in the logs for the last 48 hours.

tbh I never trust Windows Server, always a chance to get hacked no matter how tough you security is

Not saying Linux is the optimal solution, but all that I heard about Linux getting hacked was mostly do to running software and not the system it self, though I'm sure if someone intended to hack it, he will.

@MatthewSamms There is some interesting history there. Microsoft bought the rights to make exclusive software for the Mac at one point. That's why Office for the Mac began, and there was Internet Explorer for the Mac, too.

Apple did figure out that the deal was bad for them eventually.
