Take it easy on yourself :) you are not alone!

My approach to learning is that I "learn" or familiarize myself enough with some technology enough to know what it can do and understand the documentation. From there on is a bunch of copy/paste of code samples and trial/error with print statements all over the place.

Over time you realize that you don't need the documentation as much and that you are a lot more productive, moving from "knowing" x technology/languages/framework to actually solving problems with that tool!

Don't worry. It happens with everyone. Just keep a cheat sheet with you for quick reference for whatever you need most.

Over time, you'll require it less and less, mostly just for the rarely used stuff.
