I got offered a sales engineering role with a huge bump to my current salary (3x). Money is not everything to me 3 times my current salary is kind of attractive. The work is supposedly a lot more and also more stressful than my current one (software developer). In this role I would also finally be able to travel a lot more and have continuously new challenges and new projects. What is the big down side, what should I consider, why should I not do? Convince me to turn down that offer.
