Just found out about HookTube and Mastodon (I'm @digitaldina) and I was wondering if anyone else knows some good Dev/security related apps/sites that are useful? Also, I'm tinkering with app dev now and I'm wondering if any of you would recommend starting out using Firebase? Is it any good?

    Firebase is a pain in the ass.
    At least it was for me.
    Simple things you can do easily without any problems in SQL require some tinkering in firebase but maybe that's just my opinion 🤷🏻‍♂️ I hated working with it

    I'm not into firebase but, if you found Mastodon interesting, you could take a look to peertube.

    @Akatana It's just I want like a good way to get started without having to like learn SQL then do things my self 'cause while figuring out app dev you know? But thanks for the insight I'll probably just take your advice :)
