Hasn't happened yet, fortunately because it's a top-end 2016 MBP, I'd be mighty pissed. Probably have a few drinks (after wiping up immediate mess, turning it upside down etc)

remove all power sources and clean it up. Otherwise, corrosion will kill it -

Shut down immediately, turn around so it won't get further inside the device. If you can, dry as well es possible, remove the battery.
What we did was to let it dry on the heater for a day or two.
Then we disassembled it and took out the keyboard. Luckily, only the keyboard had coffee on it. We carefully cleaned the keyboard with water - since the coffee had sugar in it and some keys would stick - let the keyboard dry for 1-2 more days and then put it all back together.
It lived. -
dufferz6746yTake it apart and clean all the boards with isopropyl alcohol and a soft toothbrush.. And lingering contaminants will eat your board
I had the worst weekend of my life!! Accidentally poured coffee on my laptop.My phone decided to act up as well. I have never felt more alone!( A whole weekend without devRant )
