620hun81888yI'm about to to the same. It was recommended to me and so far it's much better than Brackets (to which I switched from Sublime).

Guys can you suggest which , I use web programming languages and front end markup. I use Brackets because or ftp support which is good but it's slow.

tahnik387588y@EpIcInCoGnItO I used to use Atom and I really liked it. But it becomes really slow if you have a big projects. I switched back to Vim.
But if you have a powerful computer use webstorm. That IDE is simply amazing.
I haven't tried Sublime as I don't want see a popup every time I save -
@tahnik I would really say try Sublime it is lightweight. Yes I found atom launches slower than even brackets.

tahnik387588y@EpIcInCoGnItO I just don't want to pay for a text editor. Especially when vim is there. For an IDE I don't mind paying but for a text editor...meh

tahnik387588y@EpIcInCoGnItO I know there's a free version which gives you popup everytime you want to save?

mx-n88yAlso about to switch from brackets to atom... So far it opens way faster than brackets. I also really liked sublime, but sometimes I found it easier to navigate in brackets (personal pov). Thats why I am trying atom right now - it's about as good to use for me with faster loading and all those packages.

mx-n88y@EpIcInCoGnItO I would say there must be some package for atom (haven't looked for it yet, 'cause I am mostly using cyberduck/git)
