I love the web. It can be embarrassingly hard to use at times. -
It's an absolute joke. I use ublock and poper blocker which gets rid of most popups and overlays, but sites like sourceforge, github, emu paradise.... There's just so much utter bullshit in the way... 'share this on fb'... 'why not sign up to gitfuck'... Get the fuck outta my way and give me the content I want!!

@hack I hadn't actually considered this... Thanks! Its not even the adverts that bug me. Just the additional bullshit in the way... My main machine is 1360x768 (don't ask..) and it makes it so fucking hard to do anything when there's so much bullshit in the way

@daemonAD if I'm just doing some quick searching I'll often use Googler, I like lynx/links 2 but it's a step too deep for me, my poor down button gets a battering

I fucking hate how much content I need to block with ublock to make websites less shit. Fuck your banners. Fuck your surveys, fuck your newsletters/mailing lists. And fuck your fucking shit website designs.
Can't be the only one who sits there individually blocking all annoying elements on sites with uBlock. Many hours 'wasted' for the sake of making everything a bit less shit
