const51906yYeah, it is awesome just drag and drop folder or connect to GitHub/Gitlab. And free for basic use.
-
Heard about it before, but never checked it out, is it some sort of git deployment tool? where you set e.g. "dev-branch" to deploy to the server X whenever there's a push hook?
-
@const I'll tag you, since you seem to have actually used it too and I am genuinely interested
-
const51906y@JoshBent actually they're well in hosting static websites, I guess they provide multiple features but I never used it. I've connected my Gitlab account, changes can seen real-time. And the good thing is you'll get a link for every project like git pages.
-
@const some of it mentions it's more than just "static" pages though and also shows some sort of branch configuration?
-
const51906y@JoshBent they provide add-on features so not fully static. And you can deploy your app from your selected brach. I've seen the option when I was deploying from Gitlab but I'm using master branch though.
-
@const sounds a lot closer to my interest, so do they have some sort of automatic branch monitoring? or is it some sort of heroku, where it only pulls the code during server creation?
-
const51906y@JoshBent it's automate deployment so when we do changes in repo it gets automatically updated. We don't need to do anything. This is the solid reason I like.
NOT AN AD
