Notepadqq closest we can get to Notepad++ in Linux based O.S's.

    Wait there is no Linux edition for notepad++ ?

    @jonii no I did not find it. There isn't a repositoy for it. The only alternative you have is to run it through Wine. Even if you can use the Snap package you are still running it through Wine.

    @Banele damnit. I'm in the process of transferring to Linux atm and this kinda makes me sad, since I've been using notepad++ since forever and love working with it.

    Guess I have to switch to something else .-.

    Who tf would use notepad++ on Linux. There are plenty of great editors.

    @kpenc on Windows it was my favourite editor. There is also a number of people who love it, like @jonii for example.

    @jonii I actually like it to be honest. It also have quite a lot of really nice themes. I'm currently using Dracula.

    @kpenc well most of the time I used Windows and for me it was the best advanced editor I tried, never had the urge to look for an alternative tbh.
