What I can recommend for a country trip is getting some beer and Mölkky - you can even make the pieces on the fly if you have a decent Swiss pocket knife and an Edding. It's a lot of fun.

Came out to the country with my wife and her friends. We were all sat around in the sun and I asked what we were going to do. She said we can do whatever we want. So I got my laptop and sat in the shade. She then had a go at me for being unsociable. FFS
