HOLY.

CHRIST.

MAVEN.

Where has this thing been all my life. I can manage my Java web projects from a single repository that works native with Linux. No more hunting for .jar files on the web, EVERYTHING IS MANAGED FROM A SINGLE .XML FILE. MAVEN WORKS WITH ANY JAVA IDE.

This is one of the single greatest systems I have ever found.

    @sharktits What do you use now?

    Right now ocaml, bu i went something like
    Java->js->python->haskell->ocaml

    So far java is the best, closely followed by ocaml

    @sharktits I want to try to stay in the Java universe. Kinda hoping to get a job with it. :)

    @kgbemployee I'm a step ahead of you there, I already use it over Java EE but thanks for the tip. ;)

    I'm going to be looking into Angular possibly to learn some basics of front end dev stuff, but I'm not competent enough to call myself full stack.

    @BigBoo Gradle >>>> Maven

    You will reconsider that when you will discover the xml nightmare of maven the day you need to do something different that "build and deploy".

    Gradle is better
